Lost art? I learned the basics at Camp Perry in the 70's and do expect that approach and mind set has moved on. But lost is a bit far to go. I do expect that experience has shown what works and what does not work now. I had rather move to more "open source" materials to get away from the maze of agents of uncertain loyalty and the spy and double agent work that makes the work so murky now.
"Ukraine had plans ..." is fine. But in context, the USA has plans for just about any activity one can imagine. I expect they have plans to invade Canada in the files. That is their job. Write plans and update them.
