Sandy Grimes was a highly respected officer and colleague in the CIA's Soviet Division from well before until well after my time there (1978-1986). Her tracking down of Ames probably was the highlight of her career, but she was a mainstay for many years of the CIA's efforts against the Soviet Union and its satellites, providing vital support from Washington to operations worldwide. A fine lady. The CIA was fortunate to have her in its ranks.
I like the INR, too, although it took me a few years to figure out why it existed. The CIA needed an entity to questions some of its analyses.
Excellent edition of SpyWeek. Thanks for the atta boys for INR, truly a national treasure. With Trump instead of talking about Obama's treason we should instead be considering the 25th amendment.
Great edition. I subscribed finally so I could read it all.
