I am glad you wrote that Jeff. Your analysis filled a curious vacuum in American News media on the actual realities in Israel, especially the attitudes of the Intelligence and Military sides of Israel's "quagmire." Remember that word?
I hope for Israel's and the Palestinian people's sake that Netanyahu's demise is not far away.
Thanks much, Donald. I appreciate that. There is so much more about the intelligence sphere of the Israeli campaign in Gaza that has gone under- or un-reported. We're working on it.
Allow me to sincerely associate myself with Spytalk’s well reasoned editorial. It is a moral as well as political stand. Decisions like this one require guts as well as wisdom.
Thanks much, Carl. Biden & co are on tenterhooks with Netanyahu--and I don’t envy them. There’s no guarantee that a replacement would be any better than Bibi—and possibly even worse—but the path toward peace can only begin with his removal from the scene.
Great article, good background on the "I know more than the Professionals" (than the boots on the ground) denigration of Intelligence Services, seems to be a common failing of want-to-be despots.
That, and yet another criminal exploiting the Right Wing minority and promoting violence to stay in office and out of jail.
From a former CIA case officer to a former Army case officer: Excellent reporting. That's the kind of article we used to get in the US media, but not very often these days. Makes Spy Talk more than worth the price of a subscription.
If even Ben-Gurion had to go into coalition with parties on the religious right, can Israel avoid the same fate in the next election? Is there a viable alternative coalition?

The same is vacuum exists here in the UK too.

Thanks much, my friend.
Well said, just like an Army case officer should. I only hope Biden Administration officials read and take to heart your message.

You are welcome Jeff, I look forward to your future posts, it is critical for people to be made aware in detail of the reality.
Stellar reporting.
