What Kind of a Person Reads SpyTalk?
Diana Bolsinger, head of graduate intelligence studies at the University of Texas at El Paso, is a big fan. Please join her as a SpyTalk subscriber.
Diana Bolsinger is Graduate Director and Adviser/Lecturer at UTEP’s Intelligence and National Security Studies Master of Science program. She graduated in 2022 with a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Policy at UT-Austin. Her research examines how Washington’s clandestine security relationships in South Asia impact U.S. regional policy. Her manuscript, “Though Not at Any Price”: LBJ, Pakistan, and Bargaining in an Asymmetric Intelligence Liaison Relationship, won the 2020 Bobby Inman Award for the best student writing on intelligence and national security.
Before coming to UTEP, she served in a variety of analytical and policy support positions in the U.S. intelligence and foreign policy communities, including assignments in Islamabad, Sarajevo, Seoul and Washington, D.C. She holds an M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University, an M.Ed. from Marymount and an M.A. in Government from New Mexico State University.
