Wonder if Israel would reduce some of its nuclear weapons for serious, verifiable Iranian concessions?

The acquisition of a nuclear weapon by Iran represents more of a psychological threshold than a substantial escalation of the current threat.

Firstly, they could use dirty bombs in warheads to render parts of Israel uninhabitable for decades. Secondly, they could reduce Israeli cities to rubble through conventional means—without employing any nuclear material.

This entire situation is catastrophically irrational. Trading the extension of a prime minister’s term for placing the country in such grave danger is unfathomable.

Concerns about such outcomes existed even when Israel began stockpiling its own nuclear arsenal. Many feared it would spark a chain reaction of nuclear armament across the region.

Indeed. Not the people I'd prefer to see negotiating this deal, on all three sides.
