I know many of Putin's inner circle and I believe he has surround himself with yes men. We would go to the Best Managers group, and this was Putin's inner circle. Deceased General Gennadi Trsoshev, Alexander Orlov would discuss these matters. They really know that Putin surrounded himself with yes men. The FSB and GRU were opposed to many of his plans which would not in the long run aid the objectives hey felt were best. I like many others felt we could bring Russia into the fold. Unfortunately, there were those in the States that opposed this.

I have been out of the loop for some time. I cannot recall if I ever met Prigozhin. I definitely believe, he did not rollover without some unknown serious pressure being brought to bear.

My wild thoughts first, what do countries do with their powerful mercenary business patriotic fighters have valid issues of strategy and tactics.

And if Wagner troops end up in Belarus, what's that mean for NATO?

"The Russians will be in Kyiv in three days and the Ukraines won't mount any resistance." Why would we expect the Russian watchers who came up with such off the mark analysis as this, do any better this time?
