There are too many dikes and too few thumbs. Someone needs to get on this, perhaps an expanded all-agency task force to audit current practices and implement best practices. Has anyone sat down with senior leadership and 'explained' the rules?
Thanks for your thoughtful comment, but: A newly minted Army Pfc has had the rules of information security drilled into him/her. Hegsteth was an Army reserve officer, Waltz a Green Beret. They know what's right and wrong, but at heart they're just fraternity boys who think they can get away with shit.
I was trying to be diplomatic. Of course, you are right and said PFC would have suffered severely for even a minor infraction of the COMSEC SOP. I'm sure within the Pentagon, there is a plaque on a wall with the tried-and-true mantra of lead by example. It needs to be dusted off.

BTW, I love what you are doing on Substack.

I can't imagine I missed so much this week. Thanks for keeping me up to date.
Does anyone know if Loomer is compromised? That would explain much. 🤔
