Interesting reading as always. I am currently reading The Illegals and it is very interesting so far. I am learning that the US did not have a spy agency until after WWII. Think how much was built up and now it is losing its credibility among allies, such as Israel, and certainly Ukraine and the EU. We also don't know how many of its' able people are fired or compromised by this new leadership as well. How unfortunate. For us, for our allies. Not for Putin though. Not for Xi.
Where we do seem to be taking over is in spreading bad influence in other democratic countries' elections. I have started attending Webinars by the group Europe Calling, which recently had two researchers presenting their findings on the influence on the German election by TikTok, which we can see as being China, and X, which we can see as being Musk, so the US. In fact, they mentioned that TikTok tried to influence the Romanian election too. I wrote up this discussion in 2 parts.
I see the digital warfare as one that we need to be following to a greater degree. These people provided some tools to do this. I now know that of Musk's big following, most are Bot accounts.
